Kindergarten Graduation and Moving On Up To The Second Grade...custom cards! :)

This is a card I made for a custom order for a little girl's Kindergarten Graduation. I used several kits for this card! From The Cutting Cafe I used the Owl Shaped Card Set (the card base, owl elements, tree branch, and leaves) as well as Fun With Owls (sentiment). From SVGCuts I used the Graduation Day Kit (Diploma) and the Graduation Cuddly Friends Free File (mortarboard).

This is the back of the Owl Card

This is the second card in the custom order, and is for the sister of the Owl Card recipient. This young lady passed the first grade and is so excited to be going to the second grade in the Fall. Remember how exciting it was to be going into the next grade?!?!? :) This card was made using The Cutting Cafe's Up Up In The Sky Wishes Set (hot air balloon). The sentiment was inspired by some of the sentiments in the kit...but I needed it to fit the occasion and rhyme...so I did a little tweaking on that one! :)

Father's Day is coming up... :)

Woops...I forgot to blog this cute little card! :)
I bought this file from The Cutting Cafe. This is from Regina's Happy Father's Day Dad Word Shaped Card digital cut file. The printed words (on the front and inside) are digi stamps from the same kit.
This is the front of the card. The top letters were individually placed on with pop dots to give it dimension...very tedious...but I think worth it! :)

Custom Graduation Check Holder Cards! :)

Here are two custom cards I made, using the same file. I bought the svg digital cut file as well as the digital stamps for this card from The Cutting Cafe. Regina Easter has some amazing files over there and excellent customer service...so if you use svg files for crafting...or digital stamps...she has those as well...go check out her shop!!! :) This card is from her Word Gift Cards and Money Holders digital kit, and of course it's the graduate card. The round "Congratulations 2013", the words "For the", and the "You did it! so proud of you" are all digital stamps from The Cutting Cafe. The two on the front are from the Graduate Card file, and the inside digital stamp is from the same kit, but from the Congrats Card file.

This is for an Iowa Park High Graduate!!! :)

These are actually money holder cards...but a check can easily fit in there as well! :)

...and this one is for a Lubbock High School Graduate!!! :)

I actually slipped a deposit ticket (didn't want to tear out and loose a check) in this card for the photo so you could see...it's a perfect fit! :)
P.S...not sure why this looks crooked...must be the camera angle...it's not crooked in person! :)

Here are some Birthday Cards I made. I had an order for one...and since I was running low...I only had one... and she didn't give me any specifics of what she wanted (which she normally does)...I decided to make several so she could choose which one she liked.

This card is from SVGCuts' digital kit Fruity Fiesta and is the Margarita Card.

This is the Birthday Flower Card from SVGCuts' Iris Fold Cards digital kit. This was my first try at an Iris Fold Card...Mary from SVGCuts gives great instructions (both video and PDF file) so it wasn't difficult at all. I think it turned out great and I love the colors and patterns I used on this one! :)

This is the Happy Birthday Card from SVGCuts' Happy Birthday to You digital kit. This is the one my customer ending up choosing...she said she liked them all. ;)

This is the Happy Birthday Card - 45 from SVGCuts' Rockin and Rollin digital kit. I just love the vintage feel to this one! :)

This digital cut file even came with an album sleeve...so this is the record card inside the record sleeve...super cool!!! :) I only wish I'd have positioned the great groovy pattern on a diagonal slant instead of straight...I'll know for next time! :)

This is the inside of the card...there wasn't much room for the stamp..and this is the smallest BDay stamp that I have so I stamped it on there. I didn't even think until a week later that it says "Happy Birthday" on both the inside and the outside of the card...kinda lame...I'll do better next time...you live and learn! :)

I'm sure you saw the pattern of the above cards...but no...this one is not from a digital cut file. This is a card (minus the flower) that I designed several years a go...I just made it a little bit bigger and added the flower on it this time to give it a little something extra! :) The red cardstock in the middle was embossed with an embossing folder using my Cuttlebug. I call this design "Happy Birthday Anne". A few years ago, when I was working for an Assisted Living facility, one of the residents asked me to make her daughter a card for her birthday and this is the design I came up with...again, minus the flower...so I call it Happy Birthday Anne! :)

Here are some Mother's Day Cards and projects that I did not post yet. This posts includes ones I sold, as well as one's for my mom, mother-in-law, and for my dad to give to my Granny Seeton...so if you've seen this first one on Facebook...keep scrolling because I never posted the other ones on Facebook...not yet anyway!!! :)

This card is from SVGCuts digital kit "Cards for Mom" and is called the 3D Flower Card. I didn't think this was going to by my favorite card of the kits...but I'm pretty sure it is!!! :)

This is the inside of the card shown above.

Card and handmade envelope.

The next card was for my dad to give to his mother. He said she kept hugging and kissing the card and said she loves for making her such a pretty card...little secret...I love her too!!! :) I'm just showing the outside on this one...It's pretty much the same as one I posted the other day...just different paper...although it is very similar...it's from the same paper pad...and I used a green flower in with it. anyway...the inside looks the same as the last card like this I posted.

OK...this next card I made for my mom. It is also from an SVGCuts digital kit...this one is from Peony Cottage kit. I had to revise it a little bit...I'll describe that in the caption under the pictures.

OK...this is the first draft...the way it is suppose to be...with the fence coming out from the card base and the basket of flowers coming of off the fence...the name of the card is "Peony Street Stand-Up Scene Card". The fence was only connected  to the base of the card by 2 tiny pieces of paper that each had a score mark in them. The basket of flowers was connected to the fence pretty well...however it was top heavy and was trying to fall over. So, after folding the card out several times to take pictures and look at it to make sure it was going to hold...the fence came right off...so I just glued the right fence panel to the base of the card and adhered the rest of the fence down to the card base and the basket of flowers down to the fence with pop dots so it still had some sort of dimension to it.

...and this is what it ended up looking like. Mom loved it...so it worked out! :)

This is the inside of the card. Actually...I changed this part too. The cut file came digitally designed to only be just the front...and this pretty little mat on the back of the front of the card was the mat to stamp on and for someone to sign. I couldn't get the card to stand...even before...the front was way too top heavy...and I was especially glad that I added the back to this card after I had to modify the front...because it shure wouldn't have been able to stand up on it's on then! :) I added the back of the card to the front and cut the mat out again to put on it. The back of the front of the card just would not have looked right if I left the matting off...it was designed to cover the backside of the window...without it, it wouldn't have looked right.

Here is the mat with the stamp and room for a note or signature. I just put a small note and signed on the very bottom so when looking at the front of the card...you wouldn't see my note! :)

I also made her this sweet litte gourd birdhouse from the SVGCuts' digital kit Spring Birdhouses. I thought it was adorable...and my mom loved it too. Since it was a gift and not something I was selling...I just made it the way Mary made her example.

Here is the side view...it is actually a container or treat box...whatever you want to put in it. I thought she could put her sweetner packets or maybe some individually wrapped candys or something like that in it.

This next card and project I made for my Mother-in-Law. This one is another version of the 3D Flower Card shown at the beginning of this post. I loved how the paper I used for the flower petals were glittery and shiny but I didn't have enough of this paper to make another flower...so I took textured purple cardstock and after I embellished it I outlined the embossing design with Stickles, which is an awesome glitter glue. I think it turned out pretty well and I liked it better for her because I'm pretty sure that purple is her favorite color. We had her and my Father-In-Law over for Mother's Day Dinner...(my parents live 6 hours away)...I made Chicken Spaghetti, a Garden Salad, Italian Bread, and for desert I made Banana Pudding...it was all so delicious! :) My FIL said "you know, she saves all her cards, but the cards you make her she keeps in the safety deposit box!" I know that was an exaggeration...but it was still nice to know that she does treasure the cards I  make for her! :) OK...enough about that...lets get to the card! :)

Again...I didn't show the inside of the card because the inside is just like the inside of the first card shown on here.

I also made her this cute lantern...from SVGCuts' Stars & Stripes digital cutting files. My husband's parents have an annual big 4th of July party every year (for 14 years...but they skipped it last year because the city cancelled the fireworks show due to fire hazzards...everyone was so sad) with friends and family and we eat, visit, and watch the fireworks...they live just a block away from the stadium they are shot from. So, when I saw the cute 3D 4th of July digital cutting kits...I knew I had to make her some more decorations for the party! :) I do need to be on the look out for a different LED candle...one that looks more like an actual candle.

This was something I told her that I was going to make her for the big party last year...but when I found out they weren't having it (and knowing she was sad about it...it is a tradition after all) I decided I'd better put it on hold. She says they are planning on it this year...so I went a head and made it and gave it to her on Mother's Day as well.

And here is the back of it...it is double sided. Kyle also had a project for her. She collects Texas Stars and we found a large one that he was going to turn into a clock for her. that was two Christmas' ago...we had everything to make it...he just hadn't gotten around to it. So...he finished it and gave it to her on Mother's Day as well. Apparently I didn't get a picture of it. I'll try to remember to take one next time we are at there house and post it.
